What is your background?

I have  been involved in the construction and home improvement industry for over 15 years. I started as general labor for construction company and worked my way up to owning my own Handyman business. While doing  work as a handyman, I was able to work closely with a few plumbers, electricians and general contractors before taking on my own contracting jobs.

What kind of training do you have?

I am AHIT (American Home Inspectors Training) certified.

What kind of special tools do you use?

I have many, thermal camera, laser thermometer, pinless moisture meter just to name a few.

Do you use them all? and do you charge extra for it?

No charge, even though others do, I don’t because I feel that they help me to do my job faster and more thorough than without.

What other job do you have?

None, this isn’t a hobby for me, I do this full time and give my expertise to this company.

Can I come on the inspection?

It is highly recommended.

How long does an Inspection take?

The average inspection will run about 3 1/2 hours. Some may take more time and others can be shorter, it all depends on the age and care of the home.
